The awards for Best Unsigned Game (Professional) and Best Unsigned Game (Indie) are determined by popular vote by GCAP delegates at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 1-2 December 2006.
Games short-listed for these categories (and for display at the Expo) will be selected from standard Award nominations.
All delegates who attend the Game Connect: Asia Pacific conference will have the chance to test the games and submit their vote on a numbered ballot paper provided in the conference satchel. |

All games short listed for eligibility in the categories of Award for Best Unsigned Game (Professional) or Award for Best Unsigned Game (Indie) will be on display during the conference.
- All nominees must be willing to supply and setup their own computer hardware and software for demonstration in the Trade Expo area from Friday, 1 December to Saturday, 2 December 2006.
- Teams will be allocated space to setup.
- Entries for this category which are not in a playable format at the commencement of the GCAP Expo on Friday, 1 December 2006 will not be accepted.
- Set-up time is from 1600-1800 hours, Thursday 30 November and 0800-0930 hours, 1 December 2006.
- Pack down time is from 1400-1530 hours, Saturday 2 December 2006.
- A maximum of two (2) computers are allowed per team and a maximum of one (1) trestle table and two (2) chairs will be provided.
- We recommend that equipment be supervised at all times.
- The GCAP Conference will not be liable for the loss, theft or damage of any equipment.
- Entry to the Expo Hall on Friday 1 December – Saturday 2 December 2006 is free of charge.
